Do Or Die?



     The book that I'm going to talk to you about is called Being Dead by Vivian Vande Velde. This book is a fiction book. It's the type of book that has scary stories, wooo! This book is the type of book that has several different types of stories, so there really is not a main character. Yes there are main characters, but there are many differnet ones because their are differnt stories. One of my favorite one that I read, that gave me the chills was this short story called "Drop by Drop" and that story gave me the chills! It's about a young sixteen year old girl who had to leave her home town in the city and move to the country because of her parents new jobs. As the story goes the young girl seems not to be the only one in the house when she's alone. The phone ringing, the bell ringing, the pond, it's just all so interesting! Get this book and find out what happens to the young girl in the short story.

    This book was pretty good, I really liked it because it's the type of book that has differnt types of short scary stories. But at the same time I didn't really like it. To me some of the stories were really good I'm not going to lie but there was about two stories that I didn't really find interesting, so I thought. As I kept reading the  two stories that I thought I found boring, towards the end of the stories I noticed that the story was good! The ending of the stories were the best part! To me, I really liked this book, not my favorite book, but it's good. Let me tell you I'm one of those people who is really picky with chosing books, so if you're not then I really know for a fact that you'll like this book.

    I would recomend this book to the type of people who like to read scary books. Also to people, who are like me, and like that books have differnt stories about the same topic but differnt types (such as romance, comedy, action, etc.). This book has made it to my list of books that I really found interesting and good, hopefully you should do the same and add it to your list!
